Preferences sought for Waimea District Park weekend hours

The County Department of Parks & Recreation would like input from local residents on ideal weekend hours to staff the new District Park.

Many Hawaii County Parks operate from noon-8 p.m. but most team games in Waimea start in the morning on Saturdays and Sundays, continuing through late afternoon.
