Roadwork planned Thursday in Waimea

The County of Hawaii Department of Public Works Highways Division will pave approximately 400 feet of the roadway shoulder on the southbound lane of Mamalahoa Highway beginning at the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope Corporation and extending south towards Kaomoloa Road. The work will be performed from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, weather and construction conditions permitting.

Motorists are advised to expect delays and drive with caution.
