Well, well, well…
It appears from continued failure of several wells that Hawaii County was flimflammed by service providers who contracted to provide and service fresh water wells.
To my knowledge, we still haven’t heard how cable with insufficient strength snapped when a replacement pump was being lowered into a well site. The technology of well pumps isn’t rocket science.
County government should cause a short, outside technical review of the well system, determine the cause of failure, check to see if any other wells may fail, and report the findings to the government and public at the same time. No special review committees, or long, drawn-out reviews.

Supporting Trump incomprehensible
I would like to thank all of the Trump minions for writing in with their letters of support for the pathological lying orange moron they call president.
Their attempt to put lipstick on a pig is the epitome of their futile justifications. He remains a pig and always will be.
By praising him you have made your true selves visible to everyone, family, friends and acquaintances alike. Your supportive writings adequately confirm that there is no need for conjecture or guessing on our part anymore concerning your integrity and personal moral worth.
Proudly displaying support for such a disgusting human being validates for the rest of us that we have greatly overestimated your intelligence and grossly underestimated your bigotry. The imaginary deities you worship can also see the hypocrisy that emanates from your every utterance which is cunningly proclaimed as adherence to their altruisms. We also get to have a very clear view of your self-pitying poor-me attitudes and beliefs that everything and every slight, real or imagined, that is inconsistent with your brazen whiteness and elitism is someone else’s fault.
This excuse works and matches well with your being totally uninformed, mentally deficient, emotionally immature and indoctrinated with hate of all things specifically when it comes to simple humanitarian compassion and comprehension.
