As a Medicare beneficiary, my quality of care has been compromised by HMSA and CMS/SFO for over five years for one reason: to protect medical providers.
Our voice has finally been heard, by our commander in chief. In his SOTU address, President Trump said, “All Americans deserve accountability and respect — and that is what we are giving them. So tonight, I call on the Congress to empower every Cabinet Secretary with the authority to reward good workers — and to remove federal employees who undermine the public trust or fail the American people.”
You may not agree with everything the president says, but we encourage everyone whom the system has disrespected to write to him and he will take care of it.

Taxed and spent
Another beautiful morning in Kona! What a great place to call home.
But are you really happy to see your taxes increase nearly every year while your services and infrastructure decrease? Are you happy to realize you are nearly the highest taxed state in the country? Well, if so, then continue to vote in the liberal, tax and spend politicians. It’s working!

Alaska does public projects better
Mr. Wilson Pepper is so right on I can hardly believe it.
The water system here is a joke to me. Imagine Shell Oil Co. having a producing well down for a year, are you kidding?
And the highway work going to the airport?
In Alaska, where I live in the summer, a road project would be completed in less than five months, complete with overpasses and traffic merge lanes — the complete job finished, on time and on budget. Winter would come if it’s not complete by then, and so would penalties.
The gang doing this job is really a joke to me. Their name implies they should be in an action movie.
Pay raises should always be based on performance, but it doesn’t seem that way here, for sure.
