The Honokaa farmers market, held each Sunday on the east side of town, have three free workshops planned in March.

From 10-11:30 a.m. this Sunday, Susan Collins will present “How Can I Use This? Cooking and Preparing Jackfruit.” On March 18, Big Island Bee Boys will share “Native pollinators, habitat protection, and all-natural beekeeping” from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. On March 25, George Bowers, a certified organic inspector will share “Techniques for Natural Fertilization and Composting” from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
