TIM WRIGHT/Tribune-Herald Waiakea and Casey Yamauchi had good reason to smile Friday night at Wong Stadium. The Warriors beat Hilo 10-1 to improve to 3-0 against their rival this season. They can clinch the Division I championship in Saturday night’s Game 2.

HILo – Waiakea senior David Nakamura had one of those five-star performances on the pitching mound, and the first thing he did was credit his defense, which could have taken the day off because of his strikeout prowess.
