Kanu o Ka Aina shines at Festival of Lights
Kanu O Ka Aina New Century Public Charter School’s gym lit up Friday night as hundreds of children, their parents and grandparents attended the annual Festival of Lights, one of the larger school-wide fundraiser events. Last year KANU raised about $18,000 from items sold at dozens of art and food booths that supported individual hui/classes for students in preschool through twelfth grades.
