Update: Hawaii Island police said Tuesday afternoon that 60-year-old Keonaona “Keone” Kahookaulana, of Kalapana, has been located.
KAILUA-KONA — Hawaii Island police are searching for a 60-year-old Kalapana man who was reportedly last seen at the Hilo Walmart on Monday.
Keonaona “Keone” Kahookaulana was last seen around noon Monday at the retail store on Makaala Street, according to the Hawaii Police Department. He is in need of medication.
He is described as being 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with black and gray hair, according to police. He was last seen wearing a white and blue flannel jacket and black Spandex pants with orange flowers.
