MAUNAKEA The group of eight protesters who had chained themselves to a cattle guard on Maunakea Access Road removed the chains this afternoon after being told they would not be arrested today.
18 arrested for DUI
During the week of July 8-14, Hawaii Island police arrested 18 motorists for driving under the influence of an intoxicant. Eight of the drivers were involved in a traffic accident. One of the drivers was under the age of 21.
