Bella Police scored two goals for Ka Makani. Kahala Erskine, Makana Blake, Alianna West, and Malia Brost also scored for HPA. Angela Cipriano had three assists.
Goalkeepers Maia Mills and Sarah Kiernan recorded the shutout against Waimea.
“It was nice to get things underway today,” Ka Makani head coach Stephen Perry said. “The girls were itching to play after 12 days off. Our ball movement early on created a lot of opportunities. Win and advance.”
No. 1-seeded Ka Makani advance to the semifinals Friday, where they will face Kapaa at 3 p.m.
In Division I, No. 4- seeded Konawaena’s Zane Garrigan scored the lone goal in the Wildcats’ 1-0 victory over Moanalua.
The Wildcats will face No. 1 Kamehameha-Kapalama at 5 p.m. Friday in the semifinals.
