Without spring practice, football coaches try to fill void

Normally, in March, college football teams would be preparing for the upcoming season. Because of the new coronavirus pandemic, coaches are trying to figure out how to recreate some of what has been lost. Fickell said his goal is to try give his players a routine, including workout regimens they can do on their own without access to local gyms. They will also have online meetings with position groups and assistant coaches. (AP Photo/John Minchillo, File)

Since taking over as Florida State coach in December, Mike Norvell has spent seemingly endless hours laying the foundation of his program.
