Police seek public’s help locating missing teen

Hawaii Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a juvenile male who was reported missing.

Fifteen-year-old Renny Kekoa O’Kalama Kaholo-Hiapo was last seen around 11:25 a.m. May 13 in the Mountain View area, according to the Hawaii Police Department.

He is described as being 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing 125 pounds, having a medium complexion, with short brown hair and brown eyes. He is known to frequent the Eden Roc subdivision in Puna.

Anyone who may have information about the whereabouts of Kaholo-Hiapo should contact Officer James Steffen of the Area I Juvenile Aid Section at (808) 961-8810, via email at james.steffen@hawaiicounty.gov or the department’s nonemergency line at (808) 935-3311.
