County Clerk’s office reopens to public on Monday

The Office of the County Clerk will reopen to the public on Monday.

Until further notice, all operations will be conducted using health, safety, and wellness practices as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, according to a press release from the County of Hawaii.

Those seeking services will be required to wear a protective face covering, physically distance themselves from others, and practice good hygiene. Signage indicating the required health, safety, and wellness practices will be posted on each office’s door.

The County Council will continue to accept “in-person” testimony for its committee meetings, regular meetings, special meetings, and public hearings at conference rooms in Hilo and Kona using video conferencing. Those wishing to testify will be required to practice the same health, safety, and wellness protocols described above.
