Families flocked to Kona Commons Saturday to explore the amazing science happening on Hawaii Island during the annual AstroDay celebration Organized by the Mauna Kea Astronomy Outreach Committee.
The free, family-friendly event offered entertaining and engaging STEM activities, demonstrations, and exhibits. Free science kits were available to take home and the UH Institute for Astronomy provided views of the sun via its solar telescope.
