Police nab 19 for suspected drunken driving
Hawaii Police Department officers arrested 19 motorists for suspected drunken driving between Dec. 12 and Sunday. Four of the drivers were involved in traffic crashes and one was younger than age 21.
Crash kills Volcano man
Hawaii Island police are investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash in Hilo Saturday morning that killed a 54-year-old Volcano man. The crash occurred in the Hilo-bound (northbound) section of Highway 11, in the area of mile marker 5, near Ikaika Street.

To Jewish people who remember the Holocaust — or those, like myself, who survived it — this shameless bigotry is nothing new.
