Pueo’s Osteria announces
new general manager
Pueo’s Osteria is happy to announce that Jason Travis (JT) Yadao will be taking on the mantle as the restaurant’s new general manager. Born on Hawaii Island, Yadao brings more than 20 years of experience in the restaurant and tourism industry to Pueo’s.
Yadao says, “I plan to build on the many successes that has been provided to this company. It’s an honor to be in this position, and I acknowledge it will be hard, but rewarding work to carry on the expectations and reputation that Pueo’s is known for.”
James Babian, executive chef and co-owner of Pueo’s Osteria, says, “We are looking forward to seeing JT fill this role as general manager. Ever since joining our team this year, he has been great to work with and has shown the initiative, dedication and professionalism needed to manage this high volume, from-scratch restaurant.”
Christine Babian, co-owner, says, “JT has great communication skills and a very special way of connecting with our Pueo’s ohana. I believe JT has the skills, experience, vision and drive to be our new general manager as Pueo’s continues its journey.”
“I hope to bring hard work, dedication, stability and a passion for creativity to the mix. The staff, the menu and the ambiance are already top notch and it’s such a great opportunity to walk in to. I’m beyond grateful to Chef Jim and Christine for this opportunity,” shares Yadao.
