Hoops return to West Hawaii

This past Thursday, Friday and Saturday, high school basketball was welcomed back to West Hawai‘i in Konawaena’s preseason invitational girls basketball tournament at Ellison S. Onizuka Gymnasium in Kealakekua. Schools from all across Hawai‘i competed, including Konawaena, Lahainaluna, Kahuku, Waiakea, Orange Lutheran and Kapa‘a. Big Island Interscholastic Federation (BIIF) play will begin this week for girls, while boys basketball will tip off next week.
