Pahoa 3, CLA 0
Pahoa boys volleyball secured its first win of the season after sweeping the hosting Christian Liberty Academy in Kea‘au. The Daggers beat the Canefire by scores of 25-15, 25-14 and 25-15.
Pahoa improved to 1-1 in the early season, while CLA started the year 0-1. The Daggers will be back in action Thursday against Kea‘au at 5 p.m. in Pahoa town. The Cougars are expected to push the Daggers, as they are hungry for their first win of the season.
Pahoa will also play in the Kamehameha Schools Hawai‘i on Friday, slated to play the hosting Warriors at 4:15 p.m.
The Canefire will be back on the floor tonight against Connections at 6 p.m. in Kea‘au.
Ka‘u 3, Connections 0
Ka‘u boys volleyball stayed unbeaten in the early season after a straight-sets sweep of the hosting Connections Public Charter School in Hilo town, moving to 2-0. Connections opened its season, falling to 0-1.
The Trojans won by scores of 25-6, 25-16 and 25-5. Their next match is to be announced.
Connections will next take the floor against CLA tonight on the road.
