Felicidad “Fely” B. Laronal, 81, of Papaaloa died Feb. 12 at Hilo Benioff Medical Center. Born in Honokaa, she worked at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, Laupahoehoe Elementary and High School, 50s Highway Fountain and Minit Stop, and was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday (March 8) at St Anthony’s Catholic Church in Laupahoehoe. Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow in church cemetery. Celebration of life to follow burial at Papaaloa Annex. Casual attire. Jennifer Mahealani (Freitas) Pattioay, 43, of Hilo died Jan. 21 in Hilo. Born on February 8, 1981, in Hilo, Jennifer spent her life in the community she called home. A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday (March 8) at Carvalho Park, Hilo. Jennifer was a devoted mother to her son, Ryan Pattioay Jr., of Hilo, Hawaii. She was a loving sister to her brother, Robert Allen Freitas Jr., of Honolulu, Hawaii. Her love and kindness extended to her numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins who cherished her deeply. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henri Freitas and Robert Allen Freitas Sr., as well as her sister, Charmaine Leilani Freitas.
