Kalia Marquez continued her dominant season pitching in the circle, going all seven innings and allowing nine hits and six runs while striking out a season-high 10 batters. Marquez has a 5-0 record with a 3.50 ERA in 2025. She leads the team in innings pitched (18.0), wins and strikeouts (21).
Ari Kobayashi, L. Potter and K. Alatini each logged two hits to lead Pahoa, while teammates Ao Lynch, Kenzi Horton and I. Tokelau had one hit apiece. Alatini was the team’s sole pitcher for the afternoon, striking out nine.
Kohala has out-scored opponents 115-24, continuing to be one of the highest-scoring offenses in the state. The Cowgirls will look to keep their winning streak going in their next matchup against Kamehameha-Hawaii at 11 a.m. Friday in Kea‘au. The matchup will be a doubleheader, and the first time the schools have clashed this season.
The Lady Daggers’ (3-4) next matchup is to be determined. As of Tuesday morning, ScoringLive has no remaining matchups scheduled for Pahoa.
