Born in Sinait, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, he was a farmer, retired U.S. Navy veteran and member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Visitation 5-6 p.m. Monday, May 19, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Wake service at 6 p.m. Visitation again 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou. Mass at 10 a.m. Graveside service with military honors noon at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 Pavilion. Burial to follow. Luncheon to follow at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church Hall. Survived by wife, Ignacia Domingo Caliboso of Hilo; son, Noel (Erin) Caliboso of San Jose, Calif.; daughters, Eden Domingo Caliboso of San Diego and Jane Caliboso (Arthur) Torricer of Hilo; sister, Pacita (Alfredo) Calibuso of Guam; eight grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
