Joseph Sarme
Joseph “Sep” Sarme, 91, of Mountain View, and formerly of Papaikou, died May 27, 2019, at the Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Papaikou, he was a fisherman and a mentor in the sport of fishing.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
He is survived by brother, Manuel “Manning” Sarme of Hilo; sister, Susanna (Philemon) Aranaydo of Keaau; numerous nieces and nephews.

Tiffany Rocha
Tiffany Kapualani Rocha of Kealakekua, died May 26, 2019, at Kona Community Hospital. Born April 16, 1983, in Hilo, she worked in retail sales.

She is survived by spouse Glenn Bitle; daughter, Mersaydeez (Mana Girl) Rocha of Kealakekua; parents, Dean and Marie Rocha of Kailua-Kona; sister, Chevelle (Shentyel) Rocha of Kealakekua; Paternal grandfather, David Rocha of Hilo; Maternal grandmother, Ethel Carriaga of Hilo; mother-in-law and numerous aunties, uncles and cousins.

Julio Tagalicud
Julio Calapotoc Tagalicud, 77, of Keaau, died May 25 2019, at Hilo Medical Center. Born on Sept. 22, 1941, in Banna, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a proprietor for a papaya farm in Keaau and he also was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo.
Friends may call 6-7 p.m. June 13 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel for a 7 p.m. wake service. Friends may call again 9-10 a.m. June 14 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo. Celebration of Mass begins at 10 a.m. Casual attire and flowers are welcomed. Burial at Homelani Memorial Park (Ilima Section).
He is survived by wife, Marina Tagalicud of Keaau; Jocelyn Tagalicud of Honolulu; son, Villamor “Vill” (Michele) Tagalicud of Honolulu; daughter, Jocelyn Tagalicud of Honolulu; brothers, Antonio (Maxima) Tagalicud and Alfredo (Consuelo) Tagalicud of Honolulu; sisters, Saturnina Tagata and Simeona Kay of Honolulu; three grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Warren Morgan, Sr.
Warren Joseph Morgan, Sr., 84, of Keaau died May 3, 2019, at home. He was born in Scranton, Penn., and was a retired salesman.

He is survived by wife, Bertha Y. Hyry-Morgan of Keaau; sons, Wayne (Susan) Morgan of Virginia, Warren Morgan, Jr. of Oklahoma and Michael Morgan of Honolulu; daughter, Rosemary (David) Ricketts of Florida; several grandchildren, one great granddaughter; nieces and nephews.

Vernon Muller, Sr.
Vernon Doyd Muller, Sr., 75, of Ocean View, died May 25, 2019, at his residence. Born Oct. 30, 1943, in Kealakekua, he was a retired sergeant in the Army National Guard, a chef for KTA Stores, a security officer and a funeral director for the former Memorial Mortuary.
A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. June 14 at Honaunau Rodeo Arena in Honaunau. Casual attire.
He is survived by his son, Vernon (Dani Tongpalan) Muller, Jr. of Kahaluu; daughters, Corinthia (Agalii) Samoa and Ciara K. (Isaac Akina) Muller of Ocean View; sister, Laverne Morikami of Puna; six grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Morris Torbert
Morris Lyle Torbert, 77, of Waikoloa, died June 1, 2019, at his residence. Born Feb. 15, 1942, in Hector, Minn., he was a retired home building customer service representative and a former member of Waimea Community Chorus.

He is survived by wife, Sharon Torbert of Waikoloa; brother, Eugene Torbert of North Carolina; numerous friends, nieces and nephew.

Charles Tahara
Charles Isao Tahara, 79, of Hilo, died May 26, 2019, in Hilo. Born July 25, 1939, in Hilo, he was retired after 30 years from the Hawaii Tribune-Herald.
Private services were held.
He is survived by wife, Amy Tahara; son, Dean (Violeta) Tahara; daughter, Lisa Fowler; stepson, Paul (Anita) Applegate; brother, Michael (Emily) Tahara; sister, Shirley Takahashi; two brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; 10 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Wallace Kimura
Wallace “Wally” Tsukasa Kimura, 101, of Kailua-Kona, died April 8, 2019, at his residence. Born May 12, 1917, in Honolulu, he was a retired Honolulu City bus driver and member of Hawaii Teamsters Union, Local 966.

Elizabeth Karratti
Elizabeth “Dinky” Victoria Karratti, 66, of Kapaau, died May 22, 2019, at her residence. Born Oct. 5, 1952, in Honolulu, she was a cerk for the Kohala Hospital and also a member of the Gospel of Salvation Church in Kohala.
Friends may call 9-10 a.m. June 15 at the Jodo Mission Hall in Hawi for a 10 a.m. funeral service. Cremation to follow at Dodo Mortuary Crematory. Casual attire. Flowers and lei are welcomed. Fellowship and luncheon to follow.
She is survived by son, Vernon W.T.
