The U.S. Geological Service reported a 3.5-magnitude earthquake Monday afternoon.
According to the Hawaii Volcanoes Observatory website, the 12:24 p.m. earthquake was centered northeast of Waikoloa Village. The quake was about 25 kilometers deep. No additional information was immediately available.
