Clayton Arbo

Clayton Stuart Arbo, 48, of Hilo, died May 25 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in California, he was a former certified diver.

No services are planned.

He is survived by parents, Richard and Keith Arbo, of Amado, Ariz.; brother, Dwain Arbo, of Redding, Calif.; sister, Jessica Trudell, of Redding, Calif.

George Aoki

George Kazumi Aoki, 76, of Keauhou, died April 28 at Kona Community Hospital. Born Aug. 20, 1935, in South Kona, he was a retired salesman.

No services are planned.

He is survived by daughters, Kathleen (Vincent) McAngus, Sheryl Kaya and Jacqueline Mukai, all of Honolulu; sons, Jeffrey (Kathleen) Aoki, of Honolulu, Kirk Aoki, of Hilo; sisters, Sumiko (Les) Biller, of Santa Monica, Calif., Chizuko (Takeshi) Kudo, of Kailua-Kona; brothers, Tamio (Betsy) Otsu, of Kaneohe, Oahu, Isamu (Irene) Aoki, of Hilo; eight grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Rodney Sisneros

Rodney Sisneros, 59, of Hilo, died May 21 at home in Hilo. Born in New Mexico, he served in the Navy.

Private service were held.

He is survived by wife, Deborah Sisneros, of Hilo; mother, Victoria Sisneros, of New Mexico; son, Paul Sisneros, of Hilo; stepsons, Chance Letreta, of Kona, Chad (Robin) Latreta, of Kurtistown; daughters, Kejshia Sisneros, of Texas, Leighana Sisneros, of Colorado; stepdaughters, Chantel (Lawrence Kaaumoana) Letreta and Jamie (Kawika) Anderson, both of Hilo; brothers, Bill (Amy) Sisneros and Franco Sisneros, both of New Mexico; sisters, Dianna (Rusty) Arnold, of Arizona, Victoria Sisneros, of New Mexico; 18 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mercedes Jacinto

Mercedes “Merced” Duldulao Jacinto, 75, of Hilo, died May 31 at Hilo Medical Center. Born May 28, 1937, in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she worked for Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Corp. and was a member of Iglesia Ni Cristo Church of Christ.

Services have been held.

She is survived by daughters, Cherelyn Mamaclay, of California, Jeogy (Nestor) Pagtama and Marlene (Mario) Vintero, both of Keaau, Margie (Jami) Anderson, of Wisconsin, Mamelyn (Sonny) Mones, of Oregon; sons, Reynaldo (Elvira) Jacinto, of Keaau, Roger (Rowena) Jacinto and Albert (Carina) Duldulao, both of Hilo, Ramelton (Lily) Jacinto, of Kona, Candido (Victoria) Duldulao, of Naalehu, Rodolfo (Catalina) Duldulao, of Honolulu; sisters, Juana (Gregorio) Longboy, of Honolulu, Perfecta (Fernando) Mamuad and Dominga (Justo) Tabangay, both of Philippines; 16 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and relatives.

Paul Gephart

Paul Emerson Gephart, 64, of Papaikou, died June 1 at his residence. Born in Indiana, he was a woodworker, craftsman and owner of Hawaiian Artifacts.

He is survived by wife, Lynn Gephart, of Papaikou; daughters, Victoria Vrooman, of Papaikou, Dawn Broussard, of Hilo, Helene (Fransisco) Aquinaldo, of Yuba City, Calif., Joanne Scanlan, of Pahoa, Laura Crisman, of Lihue, Kauai; son, Robert Crisman, of Yuba City, Calif.; brother, Duane (Bonnie) Broumbaugh, of Indiana; sister, Jayde Brounbaugh, of Indiana; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
