Big Island police are searching for a homemade flatbed utility trailer that was reported as stolen.

The trailer was last seen Sept. 17 in the area of Leila Road in the Fern Forrest subdivision 0f Puna, according to the Hawaii Police Department.

It is described as 16 feet long with newly painted black fenders, double axles, four new tires, plastic mats and a wooden base, according to police. The number “294” is welded to the front supporting frame in large visible numbers.
