Alternating lane closures in both directions continue this week for pavement resurfacing on Mamalahoa Highway between Hina Lani Street and Old Kona Village Road, according to the state Department of Transportation.
Alternating lane closures in both directions will also be in effect for guardrail and pavement marking work on Kohala Mountain Road, between mile markers 2 and 7, in the vicinity of Waiaka Junction, according to the department.
Crews will be working from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Road work is weather permitting.
