Alfred Carter
Alfred Carter, 84, of Keaau died Jan. 29, 2013, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Jan. 29, 1929, in Hilo, he was a retired architectural engineer for the Department of Planning, County of Honolulu and member of the Poaha Paina Golf Club.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. March 8 at Haili’s Tent in Panaewa for a 9:30 a.m. celebration of life. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers or monetary gifts. Contributions can be made to a favorite charity. Online condolences may be posted at homelanimemorialpark.com.
He is survived by sisters, Grace Lum and Kauilani Chun, both of Honolulu; numerous nieces and nephews.
