Burglaries

June 30, unknown persons attempted to gain entry into Kona Plastic Surgery, located on Walua Road in North Kona, but were apparently deterred by the building’s security system.

June 30, a blue Vino mo-ped was reported stolen from the Royal Kailuan on Kuakini Highway in North Kona.

June 29, a black Apple iPhone 4S and a pink Appli iPod shuffle were reported stolen from the outdoor pool area at the Sheraton Kona Resort and Spa at Keauhou Bay.

June 29, a wallet containing money and miscellaneous cards was reported stolen from an outside picnic table at a residence near 76-100 Royal Poinciana Drive in North Kona.

June 29, a man attempting to catch a boar while hunting in the Holualoa area reported not being able to find his Black Savage .243 bolt action 22 rifle after leaving it in an unknown area. The rifle’s serial No. is G838881.
