$1.2M to buy more buses
The U.S. Department of Transportation is giving Hawaii County $1.2 million to purchase more buses.
U.S. Sens. Mazie Hirono and Brian Schatz announced the federal funding award Monday. The new buses will be used to replace older ones, the senators said.
