John Macayan Sr.
John “Johnny” Macayan Sr., 79, of Hilo died Dec. 16, 2013, at Queen’s Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was the owner of Macayan Motors Inc., a former used car sales manager at Hilo Motors and member of the Hawaii Army National Guard, Big Island Automotive Trades Association and Glad Tidings Church.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. Dec. 26 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 6 p.m. celebration of his life. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.
He is survived by wife, Patricia Macayan of Hilo; son, John (Sherry) Macayan Jr. of Hilo; daughters, Jonette Macayan and Tricia (Clint) Anderson, both of Hilo; brother, Mariano (Ethel) Carriaga Sr. of Hilo; sister, Rosita Padilla of Hilo; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Tiborcio Genesiran
Tiborcio “Tibong” Alfanta Genesiran, 88, of Kailua-Kona died Dec. 17, 2013, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Aug. 11, 1925, in Honolulu, he was a flower picker for Walker Flower Farms.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. Dec. 27 at the family’s residence at 76-6167 Plumeria Road, Kailua-Kona, for a 6 p.m. prayer service and all-night vigil. Friends may also call at 8 a.m. Dec. 28 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in the Honokohau industrial area for a 10 a.m. Mass. Burial follows in Kona Memorial Park. Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome.
He is survived by wife, Pedrita Genesiran of Kailua-Kona; sons, Rodrigo Genesiran and Julito (Juanita) Genesiran, both of Kailua-Kona; daughters, Valeria (Glorioso) Gadot, Levie (Clifford Gaspar) Genesiran, Jeaney Genesiran and Shirley Genesiran, all of Kailua-Kona; 23 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Stanford Hulama Jr.
Stanford “PJ” K. Hulama Jr., 32, of Hilo died Dec. 9, 2013, at Hilo Medical Center. Born March 14, 1981, in Honolulu, he was the owner of Alii Construction, sales manager for Big Island Koa Co. and member of Hawaiian Thunda Motorcycle Club.
Friends may call at 6 p.m. Dec. 27 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 7 p.m. service. Friends may also call at 10 a.m. Dec. 28 at the Salvation Army Hilo Temple Corps, 219 Ponahawai St., for an 11 a.m. service. Cremation follows. Family requests casual attire be worn.

Kevin Darryl Kenui Kasparovitch, 59, of Keaau died Dec. 11, 2013, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, he was the owner of Kenui Aloha Lei Greeters.

Chiyono Kitamura, 81, of Hilo died Dec. 14, 2013, at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born Oct. 24, 1932, in Hilo, she was the retired proprietress of Itsu’s Fishing Supplies in Hilo.
