Saddle Road, also known as Highway 200, is closed because of flooding and debris on the roadway.
The Hawaii County Police Department reports both sections of Saddle Road, including old Saddle Road and the new Daniel K. Inouye Highway, portion, are closed because of flooding and debris between mile marker 41 and Highway 190.
Alternate routes are Highway 19 and Highway 11.
Traffic will be detoured for at least the next two hours.
