Big Island police are asking the public’s help locating a 34-year-old man and infant girl who were last seen Jan. 15 in the Hawaiian Acres area of Puna.

The Hawaii County Police Department is searching for Eli Evans and Jasmine Evans, 7 months. The two are believed to be in Kona, according to police, who had no further information available Tuesday morning.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts should call the Hawaii County Police Department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311. Those who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 329-8181 in Kona or 961-8300 in Hilo. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
