In celebration of Chinese New Year, Carrington Lim Yap, a 2004 Parker School alumnus, and his team visited Parker lower school and delighted the students with a traditional Chinese Lion Dance on Jan. 28. Before he and his lion dance partner performed, Yap shared with the students the history and meaning of the lion and its importance in Chinese culture. The students giggled and squealed as the lion danced through the crowd. Special to West Hawaii Today
