Primotivo “Patrick” Sombrio, 69, of Kaneohe, Oahu, died Jan. 7, 2014, at Castle Medical Center in Honolulu. Born July 4, 1944, in Honolulu, he was a musician and member of the Faith Hope and Love Christian Center on Oahu.

David Tetz
David Alan Tetz, 60, of Pahoa died Jan. 27, 2014, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Champaign, Ill., he was a carpenter.
A celebration of his life will take place the afternoon of Feb. 8 at Punaluu Beach Park in Ka‘u.
He is survived children, Adam Tetz, Amanda (Chad) Grove and Jasmine (Brent) Melsa, all of Minnesota; father, Ronald Tetz of Colorado; sisters, Susan Mason of Montana, Nancy (Mark) Johnson of California; brother, Karl (Kathy Bennett) Tetz of Mountain View; companion, Judy Egger of Maui; nine grandchildren.
