Natural Farming Learning Lab holds blessing, workshops

The Palili O Kohala project will hold a blessing from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 1 of the Natural Farming Learning Lab, including the new Natural Farming Pig and Chicken House in Hawi.

The program will include Hawaiian music, food and demonstrations. The cost is $15 per person and includes a Kohala-grown lunch. Children younger than 10 are free. Afternoon workshops include “Introduction to Natural Farming,” “Raising Pigs Using Natural Farming,” “Taro Cultivation” and “Making Natural Farming Inputs.”

Co-dependents men’s meetings held weekly

A Co-dependents Anonymous men’s meeting is held from 6 to 7 p.m. every Tuesday at Access Capabilities, 74-5583 Pawai Place, Suite B125. A second meeting takes place at 5 p.m. every Saturday.

The 12-step fellowship is for those whose common purpose is recovery from codependence and the development and maintenance of healthy relationships. The organization is supported by the voluntary contributions of attending members.
