Whale advisory council members sought

Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary is seeking applicants for one primary seat and three alternate seats on its advisory council. The council ensures public input into sanctuary matters and provides advice to the sanctuary management.

The sanctuary is currently seeking applicants for the following seats: commercial shipping (alternate), Native Hawaiian (alternate), and youth (primary and alternate).

Applications are due March 31.
