Cheyne Inman

Cheyne Drew Inman, 32, of Kailua-Kona and also of New York City died March 7, 2014, at his family’s residence. Born Feb. 3, 1982, in Kealakekua, he was a server for The Cookshop in New York. He was also a graduate of the Art Institute of California San Francisco and a special events coordinator for the fashion design and marketing program.

He is survived by mother, Christine Vannucci of Honaunau; father, Alan Inman of Kailua-Kona; brothers, Jon (Angie) Inman of San Francisco, Kai Inman of Hilo, Christian Fornerod of New York; sisters, Rachel (Anthony) Loando of Holualoa, Shanelle (Nick Delostrico-Hunt) Inman of Kailua-Kona; grandmother, Marilyn (Cassius Goodloe) O’Connell of Phoenix; numerous nieces and nephews.

William De Araujo

William De Araujo, 84, of Hilo, died March 14, 2014, at St. Francis Hospice in Honolulu. Born April 17, 1929, in Hilo, he was retired from the Hawaii County Department of Parks and Recreation and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Friends may call at 8 a.m. March 27 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo for a 10 a.m. service. Burial will follow at Homelani Memorial Park section five. Family requests casual attire be worn.

He is survived by brother, Alfred (Lore) Araujo of Williamsburg, Va.; sisters, Elizabeth Silva of Hilo, Bernice Schubert of Concord, Calif.; numerous nieces and nephews.

Michael Meghreblian

Michael “Tennessee” Thomas Meghreblian, 50, of Naalehu died March 9, 2014. Born Sept. 24, 1963, in Pasadena, Calif., he worked in retail.

Friends may call at 11 a.m. April 12 at Waiohinu Park in Naalehu for a service. Scattering of his ashes will be held at 5:30 p.m. April 13 at South Point.

He is survived by son, Christopher Meghreblian, daughter Carolyn Meghreblian both of Gallatin, Tennessee; brothers, Mark Meghreblian, John Meghreblian; sisters, Shari Meghreblian, Jessi Meghreblian all of Franklin, Tennessee; father, Donald Meghreblian of Alabama; hanai family, DuWayne Ke, Tammy Mareko-Ke, Talailetalalelei Ke, Kainalu Ke, Nainoa Ke, Precious Mareko-Ke, Cherish Mareko, Faatasilealofa Mareko-Ke, Loufatu Mareko-Ke all of Naalehu.

Rosita “Rose” Guevara, 75, of Hilo died March 7, 2014, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Pahala, he was a forklift operator for Calavo Papaya Factory.

Friends may call at 3 p.m. March 26 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 5 p.m. service. Cremation will follow. Family requests casual attire be worn.

Mary Perez

Mary Kaliko Perez, 83, of Kapaau died March 11, 2014, at her residence. Born June 16, 1930, in North Kohala, she was a homemaker and a member of Kohala Gospel of Salvation Church.

Friends may call at 5 p.m. March 28 at the Kohala Gospel of Salvation Church for a 7 p.m. service. Friends may call again at 8 a.m. March 29 at the church for a 10 a.m. service. Burial will be held at Hawi County Cemetery. Family requests casual attire be worn. Flowers are welcome.

Akira Watanabe

Akira “Aki” Watanabe, 82, of Hilo died Feb. 23, 2014, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Sept. 24, 1931, in Kalaheo, Kauai, he was an insurance producer for Noguchi & Associates, Inc. and chief operating officer of Watanabe Insurance Services, Inc. He was a member of several business, social and civic organizations.

Elizabeth Havard

Elizabeth Reynolds Havard, 98, of Hilo died March 6, 2014, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Fairhope, Ala. and was a retired physical education teacher.

Services will be held at a later date in Alabama.

She is survived by son, Jesse (Becki) Havard Jr. of Highland, Md.; daughter, Mildred (Richard Pacheco Jr.) Cooke of Australia; brother, Ralph Reynolds of Mobile, Ala.; hanai son, Keith Kehaulani Kaaukai of Hilo; hanai daughter, Myrna Ablao of Hilo; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Edwin Pauole

Edwin “Dole” Kaunahi Pauole, 80, of Kailua-Kona died March 18, 2014, at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. Born May 18, 1933, in Kailua-Kona, he was a bellman at the former Kona Hilton Hotel. He was a crossing guard at the Kealakehe Elementary School, a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, first ward in Kailua-Kona.

Private services will be held.

He is survived by wife, Rebecca Pauole of Kailua-Kona; daughters, Leanda (Joseph) Bernabe of Hilo, Delphine (Paul) Vigilla, Donna Pauole, Edwina Pauole all of Kailua-Kona; three grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Sandra Quixley

Sandra Esther Quixley, 60, of Waikoloa died March 18, 2014, at her residence. Born May 19, 1953, in Vancouver, Canada, she was a timeshare sales representative in Australia and Hawaii. She was also a model, photographer and world traveler.

She is survived by husband, Ronald Kurtz of Waikoloa; numerous hanai sisters and friends.

Andrew deLaurier

Andrew Christopher deLaurier, 69, of Waimea died Feb. 28, 2014, at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born Jan. 1, 1945, in Chelsea, Mass., he was a retired physician. He served in Vietnam as a Marine Corps pilot and later became a U.S. Navy flight surgeon.

Private services were held.

He is survived by wife, Sharon Hirako of Waimea; sons, Craig (Bess Oransky) deLaurier of New York City, Geoffrey deLaurier of San Diego; sister, Jeanne deLaurier of Warrensburg, Mo.; brothers, Michael deLaurier of Twentynine Palms, Calif., Stephen deLaurier of Hilo; two grandchildren and two nephews.
