Dozens of people turned out on Saturday morning for the annual March of Dimes’ March for Babies event at Wailoa State Park.
The March of Dimes is a nonprofit organization that works to improve the health of mothers and babies. The March for Babies is held yearly in communities across the nation. According to the March of Dimes, proceeds from the fundraiser help support research to prevent premature births, birth defects and infant mortality.
