Beverly Ann Kamomiala Chu, 71, of Hilo died March 15, 2014, at the Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama facility. Born in Holualoa, she was a retired teacher at Pahoa High and Hilo Intermediate schools and member of Malia Puka O Kalani Catholic Church, Hawaii State Teachers Association and various bowling leagues.

Born May 3, 1938, in Pagudpud, San Fernando La Union City, Philippines, she was a retired flower cutter in Kuola Farm, a factory worker at Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Corp. in Keaau and member of Keaau Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

Janitorial Services in Honokaa and member of the Hawaii Army National Guard and Honokaa United Methodist Church.

Harry Kauila Nihau Jr., 75, of Hilo died April 8, 2014, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a commercial fisherman and a coach and trainer for the Waiakea High School junior varsity bowling team.

Roy L. Terry, 72, of Keaau died April 10, 2014, at Hospice of Hilo’s Pohai Malama Facility. Born Aug. 22, 1941, in Teton, Idaho, he was a retired school bus driver, trainer and mechanic and owner and dump truck driver for Terry’s Specialty Hauling in Keaau.
