The Hawaiian Ocean View Estates well is out of service, Department of Water Supply officials said this afternoon. The spigots for community use remain open.
“While water spigots remain open for general community access, users are asked to limit their consumption to potable needs only,” officials said in a press release. “Your cooperation extends current water availability in the reservoir.”
The standpipe facility for water haulers was closed.
DWS was investigating the cause of the problem.
