No tsunami was triggered by a magnitude-6.8 earthquake that struck Thursday morning off the coast of Guerrero, Mexico.
The temblor struck at 7 a.m. Hawaii time, according to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Honolulu. Based on all available data, a destructive Pacific-wide tsunam is not expected and ther is no tsunami threat to Hawaii.
