A crew began salvaging a sailboat that ran aground at Old Kona Airport Park Sunday.
The work began this morning, with a piece of heavy construction equipment hooking up to the boat, the Seaquel, at about 10:30 a.m.
The Department of Land and Natural Resources was investigating the incident.
