Samiuela Nisa

Samiuela “Sam” Nisa, 46, of Pahoa died May 28, 2014, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Aug. 8, 1967, in Tonga, he was a stone mason and a member of the S.U.T.T. Ketisemani Tongan Church and Hilo Methodist Church.

Friends may call from 5 to 10 p.m. June 6 at the Free Church of Tonga, 15-1518 Lokelani (17th) Ave. in Keaau for visitation. An all night vigil will follow at the church. Friends may call again from 8 to 10:30 a.m. June 7 at the church for a visitation. Burial will be held at Alae Cemetery. Family requests aloha attire be worn. Flowers and lei are welcomed.

He is survived by wife, Luisa Nisa; sons, Lopeti Nisa, Sateki Nisa, Tevita; daughters, Vasitai Nisa, Onika Nisa all of Pahoa; brothers, Fonua Kihe Hau Nisa of Australia, Lopeti Nisa, Langoia Nisa both of Honolulu; sisters, Ofa Nisa Taufa, Lauese Nisa both of Tonga; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
