Guest director Sue Boyum will hold auditions from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 14 for young volunteer performers for “Annie Jr.” at the Aloha Theatre. Those auditioning need only attend one session.

Other production team members include Nora Frank as choreographer and Robin O’Hara and Dale Ross as co-producers.

All roles are open and include Annie, Miss Hannigan, Rooster, Lily, Daddy Warbucks, Grace, as well as a supporting cast of orphans, servants and tourists. Those who audition must be 18 or younger and have parent or guardian consent. Consent forms will be available at auditions. Prospective cast members will share a short piece of dialogue which they will receive at auditions, learn and perform a short dance in small groups and come prepared to sing either “Maybe” or “It’s the Hard Knock Life” in small groups and alone. Scripts may be checked out at the Aloha Performing Arts Company office for a $10 deposit.

The production runs July 18 through 27. A special read-through rehearsal will be held at 2 p.m. June 15. Most actors can expect to rehearse from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays beginning June 16. For more information, call 322-9924.
