Police searching for Pahoa man reported missing since June 9

Hawaii Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 49-year-old Pahoa man who was reported missing.

Yuriy Shvydkova is described as 6-feet tall and 300 pounds, with medium-length partially gray hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion. He may be operating a 2005 White Nissan Sentra.

He was last seen in Nanawale early June 9.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Police Department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
