Ida Adame

Ida Enos Adame, 90, of Kailua-Kona, died June 4, 2014, at her residence. Born April 6, 1924, in Holualoa, she was a retired house maid.

Friends may call at 3 p.m. June 20 at the Kaloko Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 73-4202 Mamalahoa Highway in Kalaoa, for a 4 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.

She is survived by son, Albert (Patricia) Antonio of Makakilo, Oahu; daughter, Josette (Robert) Abraham of Waikoloa; sister, Helen (Lawrence) Puou of Holualoa; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; several cousins.

Jinet Langrus

Jinet Langrus, 49, of Kailua-Kona died June 8, 2014, at Kona Community Hospital. Born June 26, 1964, in Ujelang, Marshall Islands, she was a council woman for Enewetak Island.

Friends may call at 3 p.m. June 19 at 92-1429 Princess Kaiulani Blvd. in Ocean View for an all-night vigil. Graveside service and burial will be at 3 p.m. June 20 in the Naalehu County Cemetery. Family requests casual attire be worn.

She is survived by husband, Taja Langrus of Kailua-Kona; son, Lapinson Langrus of Spokane, Wash.; daughters, Francine (Larry) Jackson of Spokane, Wash., Atel Langrus and Jilinta Langrus, both of Marshall Islands, Jintia Langrus of Kailua-Kona; eight grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pamela Ambrose

Pamela “Mama Pam” Louise Ambrose, 62, of Kailu-aKona, died June 16, 2014, at her residence. Born Feb. 27, 1952, in Barry, Vt., she was a caregiver.

Hazel Kalahiki

Hazel Hay Soon Kalahiki, 99, of Hauula, Oahu, died May 14, 2014, in Kailua, Oahu. Born May 17, 1914, in Koloa, Kauai, she was a homemaker.

Friends may call at 1 p.m. June 21 at Wainaku Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 445 Kulana St. in Hilo for a 2 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

Stephen Reynolds

Stephen Lowell Reynolds, 65, of Captain Cook died June 14, 2014. Born Aug. 17, 1948, in San Bernardino, Calif., he was a Vietnam War Navy veteran, worked as a radiological technologist at Kona Community Hospital, was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and attended St. Jude Episcopal Church in Ocean View.

Friends may call at 1 p.m. June 20 at St. Jude Episcopal Church in Ocean View for a service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Legacy of Life Hawaii, 405 N. Kuakini St., Honolulu, HI 96817.

He is survived by wife, Lynne Reynolds; daughter, Kathleen Raynor of Anchorage, Alaska; brothers, Robert (Hope) Reynolds and Dan (Holly) Reynolds, both of Anchorage, Alaska, John Reynolds of North Dakota, Dennis Reynolds of Julian, Calif.; sister, Mary Ellen (Ron) Smith of Anchorage, Alaska.

Lloyd Simmons

Lloyd Calvin Simmons, 89, of Pahoa died June 12, 2014, at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born Nov. 4, 1924, in Fort Arthur, Texas, he was a boiler operator and a Vietnam War Navy veteran.
