Extended work hours scheduled to end Monday on Laaloa Avenue

Extended work hours will remain in effect on Monday as Isemoto Contracting Co. Ltd. continues work on the upper and lower sections of Laaloa Avenue. This w0rk is necessary to prepare the road shoulders for paving in July.

The longer work hours are scheduled to end Monday, according to the Hawaii County Department of Public Works. Construction will last from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday; 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Potential one-lane closures may occur from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Alii Drive within 500 feet north or south of the Laaloa intersection.
