Kona VA clinic one of the best around
I don’t know who has been talking to who, but I would like to set the record straight.
I have belonged to two helath management organizations and I have received medical and mental health services from four VA medical facilities and none come even close to the first-class care I have received at the Kailua-Kona Out-Patient Health Clinic.
Considering the number of veterans they care for, the appointments are really fast. As a example, I was recently found to have internal bleeding so they called in a VA specialist. Kathy Simmons, the real director of the facility, scheduled me an appointment at the Kona Surgery Center, nurse Amy instructed me and arranged for my meds and a week later the surgery was performed. I might add the Kona Surgery Center and the people who work there are all the best you could ever want.I have received the best medical and psychiatric help from the best in their respective fields. Thanks to everyone at the VA Kailua-Kona out-patient medical clinic.
