The sixth annual Wood Box Exhibit is on display throughout July at Dunn Gallery. This exhibit features assorted box styles crafted from a variety of woods. Boxes on display will include adorned, sculptural, simple, complex, segmented and whimsical.
The invitational exhibit is open to interpretation within the guidelines that the box must have a lid. This criterion has combined collective artistry with skill.
Gallery box makers contribute unique boxes created especially for this event. Bill Ooms is introducing several new layered works. Ooms creates intricately designed boxes on an ornamental lathe.
