Burglary
June 27, an individual known to the occupant was reported to have entered a residence and damaged a door on the 73-1200 block of Nawahie Loop in North Kona.
Stolen vehicle
June 21, a vehicle valued at $3,000 bearing license plate DG715 was reported stolen from the 75-5900 block of Alii Drive in North Kona.
June 22, a suspect was arrested on suspicion of theft of a black Nissan pickup truck bearing license plate HMT140 in the 78-6600 block of Mamalahoa Highway in North Kona.
June 24, a mo-ped bearing license plate ZO5186 valued at $1,200 was reported stolen from the 75-6000 block of Alii Drive in North Kona.
June 26, a dark green 2001 Honda Accord bearing license plate HBE527 and containing a surfboard, a black cellphone, wallet and $50 was reported stolen from Alii Drive near Lyman’s Beach in North Kona.
June 26, a red 1991 Buick Skylark bearing license plate HMB105 was reported stolen from the 75-6000 block of Alii Drive in North Kona. A witness stated they saw a white tow truck towing the vehicle.
Theft from a vehicle
June 23, a black leather trifold wallet containing cash and cards, valued at $195, was reported stolen on the 75-6000 block of Alii Drive in North Kona.
June 23, several items valued at $690 were reported stolen on the 74-500 block of Honokohau Street in North Kona.
June 23, an orange backpack containing cash, a Casio camera and Pandora bracelet, valued in total at $3,200, was reported stolen from a rental vehicle at Kekaha Kai State Park in North Kona.
June 24, snorkeling equipment was reported stolen from a rental Jeep and the plastic cover was cut, on the 78-100 block of Ehukai Street in North Kona.
June 25, a laptop computer valued at $70 was reported stolen on the 75-5000 block of Alahou Street in North Kona.
June 27, items were reported stolen and a rear passenger window broken at Honl’s Beack Park in North Kona.
June 27, a flannel shirt, Levi’s pants, Adidas hat, and $125 was reported stolen on the 75-6000 block of Alii Drive in North Kona.
